PO tokens are special rewards you earn for actively participating in PoSciDonDAO's governance. Think of them as "thank you points" for being an engaged community member who helps make important decisions.
Vote on Proposals
Participate in governance proposals by voting
Only proposals that reach quorum (minimum participation threshold) will qualify for PO tokens
Claim Your Rewards
After a proposal you voted on reaches quorum, you need to claim your PO tokens here:
The amount you receive depends on your voting streak
Your voting streak can increase up to 5 consecutive votes (can be increased)
Unclaimed PO tokens accumulate and can be claimed together
Exchange for SCI
Once claimed, you can exchange your PO tokens for SCI tokens
Current exchange rate: 1 PO = 2 SCI tokens (subject to change; depends on the number of participants and value of SCI)
Your PO tokens are burned when exchanged
A leaderboard shows the top participants based on their PO token holdings
This helps create healthy competition and recognizes the most active governance participants
You can see how you rank compared to other community members
🔒 Soulbound: PO tokens are tied to your wallet and cannot be transferred to others (except by admin)
📈 Voting Streaks: Consistent voting increases your rewards through voting streaks
✅ Claiming Required: You must actively claim your PO tokens after eligible proposals
💱 Exchangeable: Can be exchanged for SCI tokens at a fixed rate
🔥 Burnable: PO tokens are burned when exchanged for SCI
🖼️ Digital Art: Each PO token has an associated URI that will display artwork
The purpose of PO tokens is to:
Encourage active and consistent participation in DAO governance
Reward voters who help reach quorum on important decisions
Create friendly competition through the leaderboard system
Provide a path for converting participation into SCI tokens
Remember: PO tokens represent your active involvement in the DAO's governance. The claim-and-exchange system ensures that rewards go to those who consistently participate in the community's decision-making process.
